FLM driveshafts with hostile boots?

Hey, I got some FLM 4 ever driveshafts and cups and the hostile 5sc boots. Does anyone know if your supposed to trim the boots for the FLM cups? if put it all together and the driveline seems a little snug now.

Snug? Like its not turning or what I will suggest is cvd guards or you'll be replacing boot often

Yes, binding. But not super tight, you can still turn the spur, but it’s definitely more bound then it was before with stock axles and boots(bearings are all good btw)

The flm axles are very tight in the cups, becuase somehow flm forgot how to manufacture stuff. Mine were so tight I had to grind the cups out to make it move. Which doesn't seem to be the case fo you, I would just run it and let it break in.

Don't need to cut them just pull them away from the trans case a bit. Had same issue when I installed, put it all together and it was rubbing.
