Foam Filter Oil

Would it be possible to use the 2 cycle oil that we mix with the gas also on the foam air filter? Or does it have to be “foam air filter oil”?

Has to be filter oil. 2 stroke oil doesn’t have any tack to it.

Ahh good to know. I did not know it had some type of tack to it. None of the stickies on the threads say anything about the tack to it. Thanks
