Some of the boat guys I talk to use 16:1. That's a bit rich for me, though. 32:1 is about right, for me. I want to try 40:1, eventually.

Liven on the edge.. Or maybe ya just feel like its time to build another engine.

Eh. Why not? Not that hard to rebuild.

Only if you mix it too rich, I ran it 50:1 and never had a problem. The natural castor oil is what causes the varnish to build up.
