I've never got it with the big American engines....ton's of CC but no BHP. I was running a Mitsubishi Lancer VIII for a bit (used buy and sell Jap imports) and that was knocking out 403 BHP @6500rpm and about 387lb @3500rpm. And that was coming out of a 2.0 ltr!!!

Yeah most over the pond guys don't. Between the sound and the instant torque you cant compare it. Beside the longevity aspect of the equation. Most our stuff aside from co.pact cars are heavier. That little 2.0 wouldnt make it 2 months in a full sized car, or let alone a pickup expected to work. And tbh, at the same boost levels our v8s make more torque and about the same hp numbers. Heck my 5.4l on 8psi is good for close to 500hp, and 600 ft lbs. Just a different way of doing things. And were not so worried about gas mileage either lol.
