Is it just me or does ddm not sell just a g320 cylinder by itself and only in a rebuild kit?

What other cylinders fit the 320 case? Zenoah g45? Quickdraw? Cy "dynamite" topend? Is there a 40mm bore 4 transfer port rovan cylinder?

Well because since there is no liner or sleeve to replace in the cylinder. Its a parent bore design which means if things go south it gets bored out to what is salvageable or the block gets tossed...since there is no over bore options a standard cylinder, piston and ring is only offered. And sincd its not advisable to throw a new piston and ring in a "used" cylinder thats the only option because the new ring is following the old scoring and marks left in the cylinder

But why can i buy literally a single stand alone cylinder piston and ring from every other engine they sell?

Im not saying what your saying is all wrong. Im saying for um the last 20 years ive been able to buy any peice from a topend kit separately. And the 320 is the oddball

Are you here for legitimate purposes or just to tear up this forum...looking at the big picture. Take rc out of it...if you went to say chevy and asked for a block and heads they will give it to you as the way their R&D department built it and saw fit..not how you perceive it to be or should be... and anything less than a name brand will sell you whatever you want

Ask AL over at B. H. Hanson. He is an importer of them and also sells engines. See if maybe he has one or can get you one?

Is bruce still alive? Bh hanson is my original teacher. Was taking the cnc billet 34mm quickdraw pistons and putting them in 260rc engines in 2003. Won championships from that lil trick. Bruce is who tought me how to make a 12k rpm motor into a 21k and the art of buttery smoothe champher and freeporting. My gut tells me i could put a quickdraw topend on a 320 case. Just a hunch

Your arguing your point to try to make me think you are correct. Yet you are wrong. Apples to oranges comparison is moot point. We are not in nascar. Its weedwackers with a dash of performance

Will not fit using a QD topend and would be cheaper to buy the whole engine. Guys overseas have used our top ends on bottom ends they have built when they added the bolt pattern and the transfer port layout into their cases.
