Gas pipe leak

thats not a leak mate that pipes a fuel breather vent you may have over filled the tank or tipped the car over causing a small amount of fuel to escape
 
make sure the vent pipe runs high if its to low then petrol can get out that way so id cable tie it to the roll cage if its already not
 
Many will have 2 tubes going into the tank - FROM and TO the tank - you will see fuel return to the tank when you prime the carburettor.

Some have a couple of holes in the cap, others a proper hole with a tube which DOES NOT ENTER the tank, just permits gasolene pressure to be released.

If you have a tube attached to this - I have - then it must be ABOVE the level of the top of the tank, or petrol/oil mixture could syphon out.

This is what Barry thinks has been happening - fuel is coming out of the BREATHER pipe.

hi mate i have a smartech spider basically the same as the uno and they all leak fuel from the breather all of them ! its a common fault with the smartechs what you need to do is change it for a fg marder one and make sure you get the strap with it to mount it to your car as you will need it ! they are cheap on ebay and fit straight in and no more leaks !

they have a fuel line a fuel return and a breather and the smartechs always leak out the breather ! you need a marder tank !

Fg marder fuel tank there is 4 or five for sale with the mounting strap for around £12.50 you will notice there is no breather hose ! :) no leaks
Just fit it straight in mate !

can i use the WD-40 to clean the External shell of the engine,tune pipe,etc..Except electronics components ?
i buy this oil (to the Fuel mixture) and for the air filter foam is ok \good ?-see picture (down the Motorex)




Castrol Engine Degreaser--can i use this product to my buggy car and For what purpose can be used? see link below:

Hi
i want to remove the engine cover to install the fail safe but the cover stuck
i remove 6 screw from the front engine its stuck -i do not want to make any damge
why its stuck ?any video\picture its best
