Had to show some love for my 5ive T.....broke her down, cleaned her up, got the DGI front and rear housings in.....RB innovation center diff mount in.....new springs....used an old spare shock boot to replace the rear cv boot that ripped.....funny how the machinists of the aluminum parts need to give you all new shortened screws and bolts....lol you’d think they could drill and tap the holes to the same depth as the stock stock parts....I know it isn’t always possible....but still...lmao anyway, making progress.

Hi Guys
Here my truck, I did a Baja desert racer theme. Stock 32 with an 1107 carb and a booster pipe. Also stock metal blackbone gearing. All turtle racing and IRP parts. All the sheet metal and vents were hand fabricated. Suspension is full rezzie setup, with a 4 degree toe in,1.5 degree camber and a 2 degree anti squat. This truck hooks up, the IRP rear wing makes a big difference in traction with a 6k clutch spring. I relocated the power and kill switch out side on a panel. I have two ways to fuel the truck, I installed a fuel dot on the panel by the power switch and have an IRP quick fill on the front of the truck. I Have a snappy fuel kit, with killer rc fittings. Using 5/32 fuel line. So here is the trick part, I don't run a fuel clunk, I have a brass fitting 1/8 inch off the bottom of the fuel tank going to a quick fire fuel balancer and filter. This is designed for rc planes and I adapted it to the truck. I have 100% fuel flow with no restrictions and it never starves for fuel and holds about 2 ounces in reserve. The filter gets about 75 tank full before you replace it. I just ordered IRP wheel hubs and will get BRP dirt tires shortly. My big problem is it has too much torque and rips the spokes out of the wheels, its crazy. I hope you enjoy the pics as much as I enjoyed seeing your trucksMHR 1.JPGMHR002.JPGMHR003.JPGMHR004.JPGMHR005.JPGMHR 1.JPGMHR002.JPGMHR003.JPGMHR004.JPGMHR005.JPG. Machine Head!!!!!

Enjoy the pics....like that it’s not a shelf queen.....lol what’s with the front bumper?....weights? and that string work is fabulous, I don’t even see telecom techs lace with nine cord wax string that well....lol

I purchased a IRP front bumper for a Baja and it was too short for the truck. So I found 1 inch aluminum stock and built it out past the front wheels with a piece steel as a bumper. it gets squirrely sometimes and endo's and needed to protect the wheels. The string I came up with to fill the openings in the roll cage and to give it some character. Its a figure 8 pattern to keep a lot of the dirt and stuff out of the truck. Than I put crazy glue over it and it sorta turns it into steel, its very strong and light. Later MachineHead
