Im 'working from home' tomorrow and Friday after many months of working away Mon-Fri so will be dusting the marder off & going out for a bash. Will be on my own but I don't care so long as I get out :D For the 1st time Im going to attempt to take some pics or vids whilst still maintaining some sort of control......anyone got any tips???

yea make sure you warm the motor up before giving it hell, i had,nt been out for months then got the baja over the local park and got a bit throttle happy from the off and blew me motor up 30 seconds later, lol

I always do mate. It gets left for a minute or 2 ticking over til I get myself sorted then a bit of a chug around just to make sure all is in order before leathering it :D Kids are off on Friday so providing I don't break it tomorrow I will be taking it out again with their Lunchboxes  Cant wait!! And I will be getting paid for it!!

Aim ur camera at ur car all the time lol :lol: It is a bit hard to record and drive at the same time. Make sure to check on ur camera that ur are recording the car and not the dirt :D And be careful so you don't run into anything. Hopefully you don't break something on the car :)

Here is a video I've done when I am driving and recording at the same time :)

Yeah crashing on camera wouldnt be a good thing! You've got the hang of it I see - nice vid :cool2: You are a braver man than me running near all them trees :scared:

Never made it out yesterday but the kids were off school today so me & middle son went to the park for a few hours with the FG and his Lunchbox. Had a great time.........until the FG packed up  Had an hour with it so wasnt so bad. Lost the collet off the end of the brake arm after about 10mins but luckily the park was empty so carried on with no danger!! Can you believe the little Lunchy managed to flip the Marder when we had a coming together :w00t::lol::lol: Got some vids of Austin jumping his Lunchy on the skateboard ramps :D I will get some pics & vids posted later.

The marder ran spot on last time out with Ben but that was a good few months ago. For some reason it seemed to be running rich this time & I reckon it flooded itself. Took the plug out & it was black & damp but the only thing I didnt take was a spare plug so will have to go back to factory settings tomorrow & re-tune. My son broke the Lunchy just as 2nd battery was running out -steering servo fecked up but he enjoyed breaking it

Honestly he's a wizz! The poor quality vid from my fone lets it down but as his 1st attempt its fantastic :D

Here is the vid from yesterday. It starts off with my over-rich marder just before it flooded itself but not really a large scale vid as its mainly my son on the skateboard park with the Lunchy. That said I reckon his driving is pretty good and his 1st time video editing is fantastic to say he is only 8yrs old. Well done son!!

I haven't seen a lunchbox in years....they look like they are still running well....

shame the marder aint running as well...lol:w00t::w00t::w00t:

Just checked the settings on the carb & the H needle was only 1 turn out so no wonder it was rich :w00t: It ran perfect last time out tho so will have to keep an eye on it. Ive put it back to factory at 1 3/8 and the L needle was already at 1 1/4 so will have to tweak it next time out.
