Rcmk 29cc, just add radio system, I have a spektrum DX4R just waiting for my 845 servos and the lipo receiver pack, then be good to go, been going over bolts everything seems loc tight good so far

Yeah, I drive goofy, I blame the old FUTABA metal box radio my first back in 1983, for steering with my left hand. Lol

These bad boy came today
Installing servos, throttle is perfect drop in, steering, needs spacers, the horns that came with servos are the right thickness, just have to fabricate them,

Thought I had gone through everything on this, playing around still doing a break in on it it goes whaa, whaa, the pinion gear fell off the clutch, no biggie, just one thing I didn't check, ugg

Should I use a lock tight?, Blue or red, any suggestions?
 
I've read this thread though Larcor69 and I was wondering where you got the spacers for the steering servo. I'm assuming DDM? and do you have like a part number for it? I should have my XCR 1000 in 2 weeks.

Post #26 says he fabricated some from the supplied servo horns. Fyi, I just fabricated one for my 5ive-t from a losi brace I never used. I just cut and smoothed the ears off and it fit perfect. Gave me just enough clearance under the servo. Good luck.
