... not sure where you guys run your rc's.. but I don't run mine at the mall or the like...

I haven't been able to find a location that's free one or more of trees, curbs, stones, people, cars, poles, buildings, water or the many other items that can damage an RC by running into or cause damage to something else.

Further even if I was able to find some huge open field with nothing around for hundreds of yards, I'm lazy. I don't want to have to go running across this make believe field to chase down my RC while it runs away until it runs out of gas.

But that's make belief world, in my world there are objects everywhere and considering the run time of these cars they can do a very long distance before running out of gas which translates it's going to hit something or someone as I don't have a make believe endless open field.

$150 I'd tell your LHS they are silly and then order the kill switch directly from KillerRC.com. You'd get it faster and cheaper.
