Wow , thanks for the advice guys. I ain't got it yet, although I would have , if RC Pitstop would have been open on Saturday !!
So the DX5 aint much good ??
I just thought it an attractive deal as it was only an extra £20 over the RTF version with the stock tranny, and the DX5 looks a lot better than the stock tranny
Only problem is.... its an Xmas present from the missus, which started as an ESky honey bee at about £70 and has gradually crept up to £120 for the RTF SR120 , then to £139 for the DX5 SR120..... !!!.... on top of the other stuff she has bought me !!
Soooooo..... How naff is the DX5 ?? How naff is the stock tranny ??
How much am I looking at for the BNF version with a DX6i ??
Is it really worth it, or do I just go for the RTF version for now and look at a DX6i if I get the bug and start lookin at other helis ????
Cheers for the input fellas !!
I was beggining to think that too mate !!
I will be a total noob to the heli scene so the stock RTF setup should do me fine for now. And if the bug bites, I can go for a Dx6 later on, before the larger helis start arriving !!
Doubt I'm going to be able to make it to Deeside this Sunday, but will let ya know. Would love to see your MSR in action though. The vids ive seen of it on yootoob look ACE !!
(BTW... what do ya reckon on this ?? Was thinkin of buying myself a cheap sim before i get my heli at xmas to help the learning curve !!. don't wanna spend too much on it tho !!

Are the Eflite helis mode 1 or mode 2 ?
Which is the most common ?? I can get sims in mode 1 or 2
Cheers
I thought that mode 2 seemed more popular.
Anyone know anything about "DirectX" ?? Its mentioned on the system requirements for this sim but I don't know if my laptop has it ??
I ain't very clued up on things like that !! How can I find out ??
Anyone got any advice ??? Cheers

Looks interesting , though its only 2 channel.
Any opinions from our resident heli expert Barry ?????
me personally i would steer well clear ! you can't do much with two channels
I kinda thought that. Seemed a bit too cheap too ??
Ive just ordered my Heli Master Flight Sim. DEAD excited about getting even that !!
Should be getting the Heli soon too. Pretty sure its going to be the Blade 120 SR RTF. Have researched it loads and looks great. But sadly Santa has got to keep hold of it until Xmas day ! BOOO!![]()
