Used to have T-Rex 250, 450 and 500. The 500 was my favorite.
Sold them as i did more crashing than flying...LOL

Did it for about 4 years, but it was always too windy or raining and other excuses I was making up.

Are you thinking about getting one?

Helis are great, I fly a Bergen Intrepid Gas Extended Boom with 830mm Rotortech blades. It has a 260 in it, is piped, and runs about a half hour on a tank. I've had several different birds over the years, the larger the ship, the easier it is to fly. The best advice I could give anyone would be DO NOT go buy any heli (maybe a airhog) but rather invest your cash in a good simulator, get the orientation down, hover in all directions, especially nose in, then learn how to autorotate. These are the BARE minimum required skills to fly successfully. I use a Realflight G-4, simple to set up/use and pretty accurate.
Good Luck!
