In my opinion, there is no better place on earth to raise a son or daughter. Hundreds of miles or horse-dirt bike- mountian bike trails ranging from easy to off the chart extreme. four wheelers are banned!! yaaaa!!!- only allowed on forest service roads. Leavenworth is at the end of the Wenatchee valley- Seattle is 120 miles away- via stevens pass or swak-snowqualmy pass- From Wenatchee, WA,- go up the columbia river -hwy 97 -75 miles th lake Chelan. the water in this natural lake is air!- you can see about 100 ft - I could go on about this North central washington forever- I was born in 11 worth- raised in this area.- the apple- pear capitol of the world.- The electric rate payers OWN the huge dams on the upper reaches of the Columbia river- cheapest electric in America by far. check it out dude!!
