Hey you have to start somewhere for a bike. I remember my first on road bike. It was an old Kawasaki 305. then moved up to a ninja 600RR and lost my love of drag racing REAL cars (what i mean by real is anything below the year of 1973... so yes no honda civics lol). then moved up to many many other rockets. The list is to long to post haha.

good idea

terrakill, what country are you in? the plate on the bike looks like england. how much does a liter of petrol cost where you live? In some places in america, petrol is $5.00 usd per gallon- no end in sight either. just wondering----

yeh i live in england, south east, petrol in my area is £1.52 per litre(super unleaded, thats about $2.10 a litre give or take) it changes every day though, and always goes up, never down :( , i don't know how much per gallon tho, is it 5 litres to a Us gallon?

this bike drinks petrol n oil compaired to my chinse chopper, costs about £13-£15 to fill her up from empty and i might be lucky to get 50 miles MAX out of a tank before i have to turn on my reserve lol, and every 4th-5th tank it needs 3/4 a bottle of 2stroke oil hahaha, but the performance&fun outweighs the holes in my pockets! she pulls just over 100mph @ 12,500rpm and will hold it allday long, and she will cruise at 85mph with my fat arse and car+gear loaded on her :) not bad for a stock 125cc set up for offroading haha

transportation cost

Yes, petrol just keeps going up. In America, the inflation rate is 8% each year. Terrakill, it must be startling for you to see what Americans drive on the hiways. 4 wheel drive on bare dry pavement is commonplace. It costs about $150.00 usd to fill up the petrol tank on a big SUV. The petrol stations have limited the credit card to $75.00 in my area, 1/2 tank. Then swipe the card agan. I run around in a modded 2000 Suzuki swift, 8 gallon tank costs 25-30 dollars to fill. I still feel like a sucker. Have a good mountian bike, this will be used frequently for round town errands. -If air fare was cheaper, i would go to england and watch the races, then go north -rent a touring Kayak and explore englands canals!! I can still dream -- agree?

Gee, i am off topic agan-- With a stroke of a pen, the paperwork was on a certan persons desk-his enegry advisor also- 2 years ago i might add, we could have been well on our way to running mostly natural gas. the infrastructure is all ready here, has been for a long time. fill er up at home, pay the bill in the mail along with the heating bill.I better keep my big mouth shut and not say anymore. i am outta here for now.
