back in time--

I was raised in the Wenatchee Washington area. Big time wet snow storms. Me and others preferred a 3/4 ton Ford factory hi-boy 4 wd to plow the snow. The engine to have was a 428 cobra jet. Nelson had a 429 scj, super cobra jet in his truck. Even with quiet mufflers it sounded like those Canidian locomotives as they were coming down the canyon off Stevens pass, it rumbled!! After winter they sat in the sheds until wood cutting time in the fall. no replacement for displacement!! Nelsons 429 could go over 100 mph pulling a trailer with a race car up the western side of Stevens pass. We had a Ford galaxy- 60s, it was a Texas police interceptor, The 390 was a nascar engine. scary fast!! The heads on this engine were Hemi - wider than a 428 cobra jet.

Gas prices are killing me to. I still remember when it was 83 cents a gallon back in 1999. I can remember filling up my 68 Dodge dart GT convertible and not even thinking about prices. Not I had parked my 1990 Dodge Ramcharger because it gets 6 miles to the gallon on the highway :(

I know we gotta pay to play but whose wallets are getting fatter.who the billionaire oil companies.i got no problem paying for gas.i have 2 big full size suvs .but when it cost $25 to fill up my lawn mower.enuff is enuff!!!!!

yea, it is not good

Shakesphere- or however you spell it- said long ago- all the worlds a stage. The band called Rush -the big money song , listen to it. big money draw the flies, big money weave a mighty web------ there are subliminals in the song too, but it takes a really good hi-end stereo to hear it.

Rush is one of my favorite bands.they also have a song called working man and that's what i am.....

But i believe black sabbaths war pigs is a better song for why this world is the way it is... :(
