hi guys, need some advice please! ive just had a repair done to my Taylor 35 Reed head (1 of the exhasut studs was snapped in the hole!) so i took it to an engineering place to sort for me, which they have, however the head now has lots of small metal shavings all around the inside from where they drilled out the broken stud etc, what's best way to get rid of all this from the inside!? The head is off the engine so its just the head its self ii have at the mo

obviously i need to make sure that every last piece is out or it will just score the barrel!
🙁

Any info much appreciated! ty
🙂

Not quite sure I understand.
If it is an exhaust stud it would be in the side of the cylinder , is this what you are referring to as the head?
If this is the case I hope it was removed when it was repaired. If so then a hot soap and water wash should be fine. If it is oily maybe a rinse with some brake cleaner before the soap and water.
If it was done on the engine when it was assembled then you might want to think about taking it apart , clean everything and reassemble.
Metal inside is probably not a good thing especially steel from something like the stud.
