How to get more acceleration ?

How can I get more acceleration ? Or what could of broke but still gives me top speed but not acceleration ? I hade a big accident n only thing that broke was the muffler n a rear up table. Couldn't find nothing else that was broken or bent . B4 accident I could easily make donuts but now it's kinda hard to make them. Em I missing something ?? Clutch is new from a few rides after the accident. It's more prime to go forward but still doesn't get there to were it was b4 so I'm lost. I need advice, shoit anything to look at n I will . Thanks guys

Is the muffler still broke? Did you replace the muffler with a different style? Is the exhaust gasket damaged? Also make sure your throttle linkage isn't bent. All could affect performance.

I changed everything that was broken for good not broken stuff. The muffler is a double exhaust I got the same one

?Did you check your throttle end points to make sure they are still opening the carb all the way?

That was my guess as well. Pop that air filter and shine a light down your carb. Pull the throttle to ensure the butterfly opens all the way up. Also check the screws on the plates to ensure they're tight.

Did your engine lose compression? Was it knocked good and proper in the crash maybe? I would take the engine apart and do some cleaning while im there. Sometimes it works to take the engine apart and put it together again in exactly the same way, and I don't know why. My mind hoovers around compression-something-something...

I'd actually look at the clutch, a hard jar to the drive train could have caused it to come loose on the drive hub. Above ideas are good too ?

when you changed the clutch did you use the same spring?

if a lower rpm clutch spring was used it my be engaging too early taking away power low down.

what size motor do you have?
