Ok here's how I did mine. It's not the best looking solution but it does work. You do need some silicone tubing like what I used to take up the gap between the stingers so that you can tie em together with hose clamps.
Pic #1:
Just butt the hose clamps together and run a zip tie through holes you drilled.

If you do this on the bottom it looks clean enough from the top

My buddy uses the thread grooves to lock em together. This works well too.
