Does this look OK? Pulled after doing full wide open throttle run.

Thanks

Yeah can be a bit hard to judge by pics, due to differences in colours of screens, but you want that light brown colour, so deffo too lean
It's always better to run a bit rich than a bt lean

What carb, what engine? 1/4 of a turn is alot. How many tanks you done? Best to sharee s much info as possible

Tuning by the spark plug is a pita. Just richen that up until you see a decrease in performance or the engine sounds like it is boggling underwater at high rpms

I sometimes get that after driving around slow for a while but then it clears up and flies. Is this normal? Or is that indicating a low speed needle setting issue? Thanks

It's a 26cc with a Dominator pipe and with brand new Genuine Walbro 997 carb.

Unknown on how many tanks as the buggy was purchased used but been well looked after.

Brand new spark plug fitted as well.

Thanks

Gave it a slight adjustment and now it's like this, how does this seem? Seemed more oily looking? Too rich now?

You have to do a plug chop if you really want to see what's going on... Google it there's alot of info to type.

The color is "ok" but not bad and is a bit rich as you can see the oil on it, looks a little rich which means you can lean it out a hair but other than that safe(y)

ok so based off my analysis:

hope that can help 😁 (y)

if you want to tune it by the spark plug, make sure you run it WOT for a few seconds then stop it w/o letting it to idle.
then read the plug
this is how i know the correct way is

I'm not sure If the kid is trying to be funny but he copy and pasted exactly what I said.
I would take that as he trusts your judgement and looks to you for advice and wisdom.

To the OP, as Rep said thats a safe tune going by the plug, a fraction leaner won't harm but I'd be tempted to leave it alone.
