Hello all!
I’m running a g290 in my baja 5b and the ride height in the back is so low. Not much extra parts wise has been done. G290, new exhaust, Triton class 1 cage, and some other small stuff. I’m looking to get a higher ride height as most of my driving is in the sand dunes. Let me know if you got any tips or shocks for sale! My next thing to try is to use a heavier weight oil.
thanks, Kyle

The easiest way to raise the ass end is to use the adjuster nut on the shocks to increase preload. After that, you can get some stiffer shock springs here:

An adjustable rear shock tower will give you a lot more geometry options: http://www.davesmotors.com/fastlane...-rear-shock-tower-for-hpi-baja-5b_5t_5sc.html

You could opt for the IRC big bore shocks instead, but that's more $$: http://www.davesmotors.com/innovative-rc-big-bore-shocks-for-hpi-baja-5b-5t-5sc.html

BTW, welcome to LSF!

After looking into it. the weight of the oil wasn't thick enough so i jumped to 45wt in the rear and that has stiffened the back up alot. ended up getting a dom clone pipe makes it sound mean and gives off some nice power. just looking to mount my light bar and clean up the wiring for it and she's gonna be ready to rip.
