Yeah i saw this too im guessing though people would rather a 4x4 baja than for this to be released! I am also willing to bet its gonna be bloody expensive judging by the cost of the castle creations conversion kit and the fact that its all castle creations gear on this baja!
 
Yeah since it was actually innovated by us the hobby they can't say they have allot of R&D into it:-) this release will be about price point if they are over $900 you can almost build your own.

I'm betting it'll be closer to $1200. Which is too much, IMO. But I think the current gas one is too much too.

I too am more interested in a 4wd gas HPI. Or shamefully, a clone of that. Or a Losi clone.
 
Would rather see improvements on a gas baja like 4x4 or other to compete with losi. I do like the fact that they did or are coming out with an electric one and hope there's no hic ups with it such as catching on fire as I've heard before.
 
im dyed in the wool six car deep baja addict but theyve done nothing but drop the ball. an electric release! what happen to the electric 4x4 that was buzzing about not long ago?

not that i would have one. electric is for girls. or for kids that are not supervised and don't know how to operate and engine or strong enought to pull the pullstarter,lol.

You need to read up on electric cars these days!

Quite the opposite the electric baja's i have seen have been wicked fast, in my oppinion too fast the front end never stays on the ground! I got a mate who races 1/10th electric cars for the schumacher team and no way would anny gasser ever keep up with those things! don't get me wrong i would rather a gasser anyday over electric but they are wicked!
