Ok guys soo I'm sitting here with a sbk 5b behind me under the tree and a 34 full mod Obr reed on the way,gonna build this thing soon what would be the best diff oil to use I got 100k and 70k ? Thanks again and merry Christmas

I think I have 60k in mine atm. Give the 70k a shot first

Bashing go 500k, if your doing any type of racing I'd go 70k- 100k

Pretty much a little of both got some real nice dirt hard pack hilly spots to run it and a nice red clay track

I'd definitely go for what John suggested at 500k, you'll still be able to turn and get some sliding action going on.

Thanks man,got the 100k ready for it heavyest I got rite now,after all it's 2 wd it's all about sliding on off throttle action

I too have one of these sitting under my tree, mines a Flux though.
Noticed in the manual it comes with 1000 oil..!! Is that 1000cst ??




I've never had a Baja 2WD, so I'm just asking... going to the weights you guys are advising really seems like overkill ??
For something that comes stock with 1000 from the factory and upgrading to 70-100k or even 500k seems crazy
But hey, what do I know.. someone please explain

Run 500k. Don't matter how underpowered it is. One wheel peals suck ass. I Second 500k diff oil. I ran it on my 30.5 then 34cc Reed and it did great on both,just the right amount of "lock" and still cornered great.
