Wow, those are two good options for your itch. The v1 always possibilities depending on condition and option revo is something I checked out recently. The current model revo has all the modern tech supplied, of course 2 peed, but also reverse, all sensors installed and the blue tooth in the radio to watch all the gauges show off battery level, motor temp, even speed on your phone with the app. Also has that tsm, but most time the fun is fishtailing with these little nitro monsters

Luv traxass stuff.T Maxx my first nitro.Have 2 xmaxx and udr.Little secret, turn tsm OFF. Causes xmaxx steering servos to burn up and remove pinion, drive grub screw through but not out ,back out ,remove, loctite ,reinstall. You'll not break or have pinion fall off in first 5 minutes of new xmaxx....Talked to Traxxas about both they said they didn't know.... Replaced pinion and spur and servo in 1st xmaxx, still running originals in second xmaxx, lessons learned. Talked with guys at hobby shop they too said didn't realize cause of very common problems. They never thought to turn tsm off to keep from killing servos. If you can't drive these things, slow down?????

not crazy, just on a mission to buy up the worlds surplus of used rc's fella (y):D
There is some rc enthusiast out there that make my collection look like a drop in the bucket..but i am happy with i got.

Saving the planet 1 RC at a time...or 5
I bought the HPI mt from a buyer about 20 km's away..then traveled about another 100 km's north to buy the other 4 from a country person from Perth to Gabbadah is was a nice drive out there.

Great score! Some nice models there, real legends of the industry
Thanks, i do like some Vintage's.

I had Nitro's about 25 years ago then i sold them and for the last 18 months i have been buying them again.

Nice haul. I'm on the hunt for an Ofna Twin.
I got a used one recently it's in really nice condition but i still have to check it over before running it i'll put up a pic later

I do like most of Traxxas nitro rc's and i do have a electric rustler that is fast and fun to drive.

Ofna Twin, i have not done any thing to it since i have had it but i will soon.
The Body is near mint i'm glad the previous owner didn't cut holes in it...it's disappointing when a rc body get's cut up.
I got 4 x 1 gallon of nitro fuel this would soon go through all of it.:D

Well, I have never seen that before.
Being a nitro guy, I give it two thumbs up. Really cool.

I might have to go hunting now.

I might have to go hunting now
I assume hunting for nitro's?
I will now stop buying any more used nitro's i hope, i have no more spare space and i've kinda had enough of organizing with sellers when to pick up the rc also i got enough rc's to restore for at least a year if not more...although i may not be able to resist a vintage nitro nearby at a good price.

Yes, unfortunately space is the next limiting factor after budget for this hobby. I also understand the temptations for those old classic models ... I am up to 3 summits, 8 savages, and at least 8 scale crawler's ... for sharing when friends and family visit.

about 18 months ago i just wanted one 1/5 baja then i bought a couple more then i thought i should get some nitro's because they are great too and there no way i could of predicted how many i got now.

if you can buy them in good condition without needing to buy parts for them it's worth having because all you need to do is dismantle and clean it and put it back together.

I think i have 4 or 5 savages they need to be restored it's always more fun driving them with friends and family.

I removed the engine & engine mount from the Tamiya Nitrage it required the drill and dremel cutting disc for 3 screws, the Tamiya counter sunk chassis hex screws are soft and so are the engine mount screws probably all off the screws on it are soft and the previous owner messed up a couple from removing the engine , i'll replace them with new "Non Tamiya" screws, the rest of the chassis should be hopefully easier to work on as the screws haven't been removed by the previous owner...most other brands use better screws.
Nice haul
sometimes i wonder with so much rc fixing to do am i punishing myself.
