nice ride mate think your pipe is a rn tuning bullit pipe not cheap a very good my mate wagon runs same pipe on his v3 ultimate spec baja 1000 and his is a tad close to some parts but its not a problem,if are you running a race runner shell it will eat anything the pipe touches thats plastic you could try getting some heat wrap that will help out

Very much looking forward to using this car :) . I think its a Victory RC pipe also , although i haven't been able to verify this ?

Have ordered a new 28.5 cc 4 Bolt Zen & other bits to complete the model.

Is this the correct way to route the servo wires & any advice on keeping them from touching the forward drive shaft?

Fitted some Vertigo Performance axle extenders (8mm offset) & hostile slicks just because i wanted to see what they looked like .

It looks like you have them correct,Renbar might be right haven't checked into it,but car looks good im acctually going through mine right, putting all the alum goodies on it.

if it wasn't for the fact that wagon runs the same pipe i also would have said its a vrc pipe the vrc is a bit smaller and goes inside the cage other than that they look exactly the same,,wagons pipe is very close to his rear shock tower to the point it just touches the tip of his tower,,there's nothing init between the rn and vrc if anything the rn he runs is a bit louder than the vrc pipe i run on my fg

I do plan on running a RR shell . I have been offered a Samba 4 pipe....Would this be a better pipe 1. performance 2 fit? or any recommendations ?
thanks

depends on cost youve allready got the rn pipe how much the samba going to cost you there both great pipes i love the look of the raw finish on the rn's much better than the blingy chrome ones that look shite the first time it gets a ding my vrc has been hit and it landed on the end its got dent where stones have flicked up and hit but wipe the dirt off little wipe over with oilled up rag and its good to go

the only thing that lets the rn down is the end mounting wire its not a solid as how the vrc's mount if you look on trebors one i think hes made a bracket to sort it,maybe worth thinking about on yours

non of the after market pipes for the MCD's fit to well all to close to

everything, and as barry says don't fix to well either:( i tig welded extra

brackets on before having it powder coated:D

the one you have is yesterdays pipe the samba 4 the most up to date,

but still don't fit to well and are very thin metal so dent the first time you roll

i found the best pipe is the CPI side mount that i have on one of my MCD evo3

ultimates it fits spot on and was made for the V4 you could hit it with a hammer

without denting it

this is the CPI side mount pipe, loose fitted to one of my mcd evo3 ultimates

K....

Ya i have a cpi on mine but rear mount and it fits great,i would rather have the cpi pipe then the vrc, have had many tumbels, and no denting its a very strong pipe.

Update . Engine finally arrived . 28.5 4 bolt Zen ,Laut clutch , eletrics . Just fuel lines & pipe to finish. The pipe is a terrible fit for a RR shell . Oh well ! will get the samba .

Shell is very tight where pipe is circled.

you will have the same trouble with the samba:(as you have with the RN

and the fixing brackets are flimsy....the best in many peoples opinion is the

CPI which would be the side mount in your case:)

I'll look into trying the CPI pipe. But for now ......New shocks arrived as i heard the stockers are weak.
