where do you even buy steel ? is it steel sheet ? because ive looked on the net
for 4mm steel sheet and i cant find any ?
 
4mm alloy...4mm mild steel or 3mm stainless... and once you have decided on which to use and given me the max width and length I will get you a price or 2 from my local boys...
should save on postage....

sorry for the dumb questions but how strong is mid steel?

i have looked on the net but don't understand any of it :lol:

you think is the best steel to get.....
 
either or....4mm m/steel and 3mm st/st will be similar in strength and the obvious one is st/st wont rust..

m/steel is cheaper than st/st
m/steel is easier to cut and drill

as a start I would go with m/steel as its easier to work with and adjust if there is a problem...
 
i could'nt get what you wanted wezg coz my chassis snaped and was held on by a small
bit of chassis :lol: but it looked fine untill i took the front end apart :( now i need a new
chassis....
