ok have fun with rusted springs, If you read my first post I stated it could cause issues, I tried it when I first got into bajas and was told the same thing so they were replaced, Thank you have a good day
 
one thing i think your have not noticed, and if you have your fooling yourself, the r/c hobby is a money pit , i bought my baja's from KM because i knew i would do complete change out of almost every part and i almost did,if you going to beat on it as you say, your going to spend more money then you think, i don't think anyone here is picking on you or starting sh*t as you put it, but some of these cat's have been doing this a long time and just trying to give you some advise before you have any issues later,
the shock idea is good,i hope it works they way you say it will, but this is not the hobby where being frugal will keep you baja up and running
 
I known this isn't a cheap hobby, thats why i save money where i can. So call it "gangster" if you want, I don't really care. I'll spend my money on important things, like the motor, electronics, and drivetrain. And if those cheap springs rust, I'll put good ones on. Have a wonderful day gentlemen, no hard feelings...
