Have a guy that's wanting to trade his hpi baja for a crawler. Curious how much a 26cc model is worth? It has the purple aluminium frame. Extra set of paddles and no radio system.
He says stock it's a 23cc it has a cy26cc on it I guess

Purple Frame? That's old. That's the first gen hpi Baja. Was released in 06. The prices vary depending on condition and weather it runs. 200-400 I'd say. I'd grab it , love the original hpi, don't see them so often now

I tried trading him a gen8 redcat. He asked what else to throw in. Gen7 is $250ish new. Mines new. I have a gen8 too. Now trying, asking if he would trade for gen 8. Lol. I'll get it even if I have to toss in cash. I want a second 1/5 scale to put some huge motor on later haha.

He is on his way. Will be here in a hour. Crazy, I order a KM baja blade and this trade pops up out of no where. Now I'll have one clone one original. I'll definitely get the full experience of each.

He sent a video of it starting amd running and revving and tires moving. If anything else is wrong I'll figure it out. I'll have a new model and this one to mess with.

My 6yr old boy knows how to drive rc. I can just restrict the throttle position and It should be good for him right? Lol.. like a go cart? Haha. We started with crawlers and he has a cpl cheap faster rc.

Depends on what radio you have. If you have a radio that you can adjust end points than yes.

Just did the trade. It looks clean. He gave me a traxxas 3 channel 2.4 radio and receiver. Sounds like I just need fuel and a filter. Since it's already broke in should i buy a upgraded filter? Or standard? Is it really worth the upgraded? He didnt remember what steering servo he replaced it with. I just took these pics. Atleast it's a hitec! Is this a stock pipe? If not, any idea what it is?

Not the stock pipe, it's the hpi "upgrade" SS pipe I'd get a upgraded airfilter, the stock hpi one isn't available and the rovan/km version is trash imo. I like the tgn easy clearence filter and a ddm velocity stack ?

I need to find out what fail safe/kill switch to buy. And what I need to convert both buggies over to 7.4v lipos. To convert them I basicly just need servos with 7.4v capability right? I'd much rather have battery power of a 7.4 than a 6.6

I just ordered some no problem. Oh and those badass tires!
