apparantly it isnt! spoke to mike at taylor, hes going to send me some shims as it shouldn't be like that, im using taylor diff cases that i just bought from him, he didnt realise that there would be an issue using them with stock case so its new to him, hence why hes sending me some free shims.

Yeh that's in, but there is a good 2-3mm play side to side, spoke to mike at taylor and he says the Taylor cups are slightly different dimensions to the stock cups meaning that if I try to fit them in stock housing (or any other housing probably!) there will be this issue! They were designed to be used with the Taylor housing only. Bit naffed as he didn't mention this when I ordered as I was going to order the genuine Losi cups from him but he only had 1 in stock and that's when he said he has Taylor ones in stock that are better if i wanted them instead! but in all fairness he didn't realise until now it was this much of a fault as I sent him the video, so has offered to send me some free shims or a discount on the Taylor Housing so decided to just go for the taylor housing as I really don't want to be messing about stripping the diffs right back down again as id have to do this to fit the shims as I've literally only just rebuilt them!

To be fair though I was planning on upgrading the housing in the not so distant future, the diffs/housing is the only parts I was planning on upgrading on the 5T as I'm going to be throwing an OBR Magnum in it early next year so with the discount he's offered I may as well just get them now!
