ya if you take the clutch back off you'll notice the slop inside of the clutch bolt hole,,,i ordered mine from ddm for 3 bucks a pc,,,their hex head which kinda sucks cause you can use an impact and I didn't have a piston stop tool so it was a p.i.a to get tight, but no problems since

I definately noticed the slop as you mentioned. Not sure how that makes a difference with sticking shoes though, but I will pick up some new screws tonight and see what I can come up with.

Perhaps it has something to do with the pads moving slightly instead of staying on a true pivot point. Stay tuned!

huge thanks to you guys for figuring this one out!

It was in fact the king motor bolts. Replaced them with the costly HPI ones and clutch is working again! What a pain!

ya tell me about it-bashing yesterday when my owb went out on me!!! Just ordered a new one from vxb, does anyone know if that brand will be better then the KM??

did you order the keyed owb? there is a oneway with out the key ways cut out, make sure you have the correct one ordered

Yes, that is the exact one I ordered. I did some research here to find a link to it. I just couldn't see replacing it with a bearing with a rep for early malfunction. Curious if this was about the same quality or hopefully a slightly better. Couldn't find anything on their website about warranty.

just received my vxb bearing and it is not the right one. The key does not fit correctly and the inner portion of the bearing only has one notch as opposed to two. so it will not go over the pins, and I think I'm just done with the 2 speed, been nothin but a hassle since I've had it

hmmm, someone on here got one from them and never said he had any probs, i got the one that was not keyed at all,so those went back, give them a call they pretty good about issues
