Nope I bought the 23cc , I would show you the link to the ebay dealer that I bought it from , but he does'nt have them listed anymore....guess that says a lot !! He still sells some of the KM 29cc buggy's and KMT-1000 trucks.
I bought the buggy in Dec. '09 brand new for $499 including shipping for my son......what a waste. From now on I will buy HPI.

Matt

sorry to hear you had all those problems... between me and the 5 other guys i usually bash with we all have em' and the only issues we faced were the following: for the older models, radio and servos but not the newer ones, clutch, carb, and the diff. other than that we have had some issues from time to time with poorly assembled shocks but other than that they have been great.

when buying a newer KM baja the guys are doing the following right away to avoid probs: hpi baja ss diff, zenoah or cy engine complete with clutch and 8000rpm spring, and for sand bashing an enclosed clutch carrier...

again im sorry to hear of your misfortune, on a lighter note don't feel to bad, my 1st generation km fell apart also, they have come a long way since gen 1

For first rc hpi would be better because hpi must (never had one) be just fill the tank, battery charge and go. But km feels to have (alloy version) good parts with sloppy build quality. Mine had unlocktited diff case bolts and thats why bevel gears broke. KM needs bit bolt retightening etc. Also i could complain rcmodelz warranty (not having one) but I have written enough about it.... still :censored: about it. Still very good bangforbug and maybe could be even better with kit version and even cheaper price
