hello everyone..in the process of learning much as i can before the "FIRST RUN".just finished oiling up the air filter and fighting big time getting the retainer out and back in.then the motor gear cover...now here's the question if any one would kindly reply.....do i put some gear of grease or lube to those gears?

Grease attracts sand grit ect not good which gears are you talking about

I was referring to the gear attached to the center bottom of the motor and meshed with much larger gear

No problem make sure you break that engine in properly

I use a dry teflon spray lube on my gears. don't know if it helps but it isn't sticky.
