This is a Kyosho Usa 1 that I rebuilt. I have 2 servos for front and rear steering, much improved over old design. Upgraded shocks steering arms and electronics. Plated the steering slides for added strength new wheels and tires with upgrade hubs. Just a cruiser not a beater. Clod body with blower. Let me know what you think.

@Gordo... nicely done my friend. I have always loved the old Clodbuster and USA-1 monster trucks. Those were always on my wish list growing up and seeing them in all the RC magazines.

Fully agree with woodie! That is awesome. I was 10 back in 1990 when I got my first Tamiya Lunchbox. When my mom would shop for groceries, I would go next door to the local hobby shop and just stare at the Clodbusters and USA-1s in awe and hope to eventually own one. To this day never got one in my collection. You have sparked my motivation my friend! Very nice build Gordo! Ahh the good ol' days when times where so much simpler.

Nice truck! This a bit of a custom build also and when searching for a forum to show it off I found this thread.
This is my usa 1 , got it back in November did a couple runs on the stock 4s setup and it was fine, but I can't leave good enough alone and was sceptical of the stock esc as it looked like a max 10 sc, so I put the quick run 8 and a 4274 hobbywing motor for more piece of mind... ouhps!!! Talk about bonkers power on 6s, on an icy driveway a blip of 3/4 throttle would have it flip onto its roof then back to its wheels as the wheels slowed down, that was cool, last year the snow was deep, like foot and a half of powder, with throttle control I could get the truck to float on top, but to much and it started to dig down, but never stop digging, with just burps or the trigger the front end would lift and the wheels would throw the snow out of the way and it made it threw. Never saw that before!
Had a 6ft snow jump made for my x maxx and it had over a foot of powder leading to it and on it, after a couple passes to the jump with the usa 1 I made a run to jump it, another ouhps, trying to keep these spinning hunks of tire on course was hard, as it ran up the jump the truck went right and it jumped over towards the icy driveway, saw it happening so I did my best and did make the four wheels land, but the front wheels both went opposite ways instantly. There where only three parts broken but the site of it looked much worse.
Saw vitavon parts available and put savage x big bores with custom shock towers. Even after repeat emails to vitavon they only make the front diff housing. Oh well, just got it back together and can't wait to try it in snow. You may have noticed my esc and the custom bracket are held on by two sided tape!!! Its called alien tape and I can pick up the truck by the esc and shack it
