Leaky Carb

I was mashing around for about 20 min and noticed the motor started to bog. I decided to turn the motor off. After a few minutes I tried to start back up. To my avail it wouldn’t start. I waited for the motor to cool and pull the plug and see if I flooded the motor. No fuel came out of the cylinder. I then looked around and my carb seems wet near the choke. Wondering if the problem related to my carb. For the life of me I can’t get it fired up. And yes the servos are turned on. There is cover on air filter team Losi one. I did re oil the out side air filter foam. Just a light spray.

?Looks like the gasket between the carb and isolator is leaking. Might need new gasket or simple tighten.

I tighten the screws they are fully tight. Think I need a new gasket. Wonder if this is the reason she won’t start and boging down.

Good place to start. If gasket is bad then there's an air leak which will make it run lean or gasket may be bad at the pulse hole so it can't draw in fuel.

Looks like stock iso block also. Take it off and check to make sure it is not warped. These blocks are not uncommon to be warped. Even new ones I have seen warped.

Man these motors always need tlc huh? This motor is brand new. Looks like you have to replace parts every other run.

Did you check the bolts before running and after break-in? Just like anything else, it needs maintenance brotha. All part of the hobby. From the looks of the pic it may be time for a bath too.

The bolts are behind the air filter? Sorry new to this game. And no I haven't checked the bolts.

Usually yes, but need some better pics or need to know what car/filter you have. Also whenever I buy a car new or used I make sure to get the user manual. It will help you out 10 fold??

I checked the bolts and they are tight. Sounds like a new gasket kit and go from there. I tired to turn the motor over again but no luck. Will not start.

I have not checked for spark. I will do that after dinner. I am running 5ive-t 2.0 with Zonoah G320rc motor.

As a rule of thumb I always try to fix it for free first. See if you have spark first. Unscrew the spark plug and set it on something metal and pull the pull start you should see spark

Well I am not getting any spark. How do I fix this?

That would be your problem. Check your wiring, kill switch (if you have one) kill button, and coil gap.

Gap on the ignition coil. It sits just above the flywheel. Black and silver thing the plug wire comes out of. Loosen the 2 screws and stick a business card between it and the magnets on the fly wheel. Tighten the screws back up. And its gapped. Have to pop the fan shroud off to get to it.

Ok getting good spark now, but still won't turn over. Could it be the leak in the carb gasket that will cause it not start? I haven't touched the factory settings. Should I close H&L needle start over with factory setting?
