Ive only put one in the center of a 5ive B.
I'd think it wouldn't steer well with the front locked.

Unless your running on dirt and go straight a locker in the front is pointless and won't turn very well.

I have not but I think I will try it. What should I expect
Hard to turn with no throttle input, possibly breaking something in the drive train and a lot of torque steering.

What advantage are you expecting from fitting a front locker ?
Physics dictates that there is a differential in rotational speed of the front and rear wheels during turns , so a diff is desirable.
