Hi!

I'm all new here in the forum and it is only a month since I got stuck too RC. One of those guys who took the car in parts to build it the way I want it.

By now I have changed many parts, but there are still some original that haven't found anywhere.

Hoping that you guys could help me out. Could be that some of them should be kept plastic?

But I would prefer carbon fiber or aluminium in black :)

WELCOME!

Like you, I have made what I think are critical upgrades to the DBXL-E 2.0 that it needs. All the parts you listed I still have those plastic based on how I bash never broke.

What I did change
  • F/R diff housing to aluminum to stop the damn flex
  • F/R chassis braces
  • Center diff mounts were never like those as plastic changed those to stop flex
  • The steering servo mount was plastic. It had to go
  • Optional: I'm just in favor of having aluminum F/R knuckles/hubs...not required
Indeed, one of the weakest points of this rig is the diffs and how much flex this rig allows. Then shim the diffs, inputs, etc, making sure to have a good mesh

Make sure to buy reputable/quality upgrades, such as Taylor/Vitavon and genuine TLR upgrades, avoid FID brand, Trust me, ive been there so you don't have to so to speak! lol

Stay away from integy parts as well, I've been seeing an uptick in customers not getting their products and having to start disputes to get a refund.

I have been picking up ADU items for diffs and other parts. It's new to me, but the quality seems nice so far...but there's not much I know about their history.
