I changed the diff oils on a friend's dbxl-e 2.0 and he's running a mamba monster xlx2 and no broken shafts
was he having dramas before you changed the diff oil?

cheers
Yeah something isn't set up right with it. Shouldn't be breaking cv shafts.
hmmm seems that way. I went back through the user manual, set all the correct heights and measurements. tried to bring it all back closest to factory as i could

Went out racing this weekend.

i broke 2 front stock cvd’s
And
My rear popped out 3 times.

i have my droop set correctly, i rarely crash… my 2 broken cvds were a result of other drivers crashing in to me (they don’t know how to turn).. and the the dog bones that popped out were while my car was going down the straights. I don’t understand it one bit.
FML’s here i come!

The 2.0 center stuff Is different. Front the 1.0, cant be used with out some major modification. If your talking about the front axles then your droop screws are set wrong. If your talking about the front center CV, the go buy a set of flm shafts, actually if your talking about any of them go buy the flm shafts. It will save you in the long run.
I have the Dbxl xl fully modded on every possible upgrade all aluminum everything 2 speed trans gtB upgraded axels all around as well as other drivelines. My axels are always coming out. I am running the OBR 34 signature series. To much slack the arms are adjusted right.

Inhave had this problem myself I changed diff fluid in front and rear diffs to 150,000 wt and center diff to 20,000,000 wt it almost looks center diff and equalizes power transfer between front and rear but still has a little give on a hard corner landing. Also used the metal center diff case from the e. Since I made these changes I haven't had any issues what so ever with front cvd or diffs and it handles a million times better. And stops front tire ballooning. Just my two pennies lol.
