My calipers don't open that wide but I pulled 9.5 inches with a tape measure.

Great was it still attached to the rear diff
Just measured mine 20cm 7.8inch
mind you i did it in place i have my rear axel off in one piece. Was kinda hopping for the 5t snd 5b rear to be the same length with the relocation of the center diff.

It was. There is no boot on the rear diff. I measured outside of pin to outside of pin for 9.25 then slid shaft into rear drive cup of center diff.
Measured 1/8 inch from outside of pin to end of shaft. I assume the ball ends are symmetrical, so doubled that for an OAL of 9.5.

grrr so no losi 5b rear drive up grade there .....thanx TDC any chance of the front measurement?

Tdc thanx 3.5cm shorter than the 5b rear
