I have a full ally wing that came with my 1st marder. Seems heavy tho so never fitted it.......I suppose it would help get the front end up tho :w00t:
 
Next time you are out Keith give us a shout & I will meet you either local to you or Blackburn. Would be good to see your marder in the flesh :cool2:

Right....its now back to a rolling chassis with the bling wheels. The wheel nuts on the back don't sit right yet - need a couple of M8 washers to space off the shaft & bite the nut.

+1 mate. The guy with the beard,Bob, now runs king cobra racing & his son runs the model shop. Both have raced 5th's so know their stuff. They will help you out over the phone if you need advice on anything. They have even advised me NOT to buy something before now cos there was no benefit to be had!! I just wish they would get my layshaft tuning brake in soon........
 
Oh forgot to say - not done anything too technical tonight apart from trying to spell on here for that very reason :lol::lol:
 
Im going to attempt to make some side pods or deflector plates to stop the shite from filling the chassis. Going to make my own cover for the radio tray too as it works very well on the other marder.
 
that looks good.:w00t:..If I was going for a shell it would have to be the classic beetle..the new ones just don't cut it..same with the mini's the only new one I prefer is the fiat 500..that would look sweet on one of these(maybe not off road though)
 
The shell is courtesy of Tongham Runfold on here. He makes his own fibreglass bug shell & offered any colour but I chose white cos I can change the look just by changing the decals & don't have to worry about matching colours. White goes with everything :cool2:
