MCD XR5 "HOONITRON" build 😉

Hi guys!

I'm new to this forum.
I'm from Austria in Europe and at the moment building up an XR5 Max...first time going big with 1/5. Therfore I thought it could help to join this forum to get some ideas and exchange.

I bought it as RR5 Max Ultimate and converted it to the XR5.
As I wanted to run it electro, I thought the Hoonitron design could fit...and I think it does!
I will run it with the Hobbywing Max 4 Combo

I love the look and feel and quality of this car...it is amazing.

One suggestions is to cut off the rear bumpers if you’re going 12s..

So much torque, that it balloons the tires just enough to get caught.

You won’t notice the ballooning, I only saw it on slow motion later on..

If the body shell has kinda same wheel arch and the cage has similar rails it should fit.

it has no cage haha. Man that filament you use looks amazing as well, very expensive but pretty.
