Mt xl kill switch dynamite.

I have a dynamite kill switch on my mt xl and the light turns off and on and the engine continues to run when the light is on or off. I have the fly sky fs-gt3b. I have it linked to channel three and the remote turns the red light off and on, but doesn’t kill the engine. Any thoughts? Thanks

Did you hook the killswitch lead to the coil??
