That's what's on there Sir. It's saggy. I have yet to drive the truck since rebuilding it. Just testing it on the ground.Couldn't you just go with a heavier spring ? Sorry I'm still learning myself . I'm sure someone will come in with a better answer .
I may go with the IRC big bore fronts the whole way around. Thanks for the input!!losi 5ive r only option really......with the stiffer ddm springs.....I ran these..[ddm springs] on my dbxl`s stock shoxs with 5000wt oil in them......worked ok.......I thk u need 4x losi 5ive fronts on a dbxl....
ahh...no...u could go with the irc big bores.....obv 4x 5ive ones
Thank You!! As you can feel my pain about these shocks. They were ok at best on the stock truck, now with added weight I don't even want to run it without better shocks. Thanks for the help!!I swapped my dbxl over to 5ive T front shocks. Other then blowing a seal now and then I haven't had any issues. The rear 5ive t shocks are a bit longer may work better for the mtxl.

I don't know who you speak of to ask Sir. I am fairly new to this forumIf u do go irc....best ask rob what he thks of either fr/rear 5ives ones on ur mtxl.....hes very helpful..
Sweet. Did you use a complete 5iveT set front and rear?I scored a stock TLR set off ebay... IRC would have been my next choice.
The price is sickening! But I guess I have no choice. You recommend four fronts, four rears, or a full set of front and rear? Thanks!Irc set for sure.
Awesome. I found two rear 5iveT 2.0 on ebay. Will have to wait for two more. That is all they had in stock was two rear. So how about mounting them up? Guessing I have to buy standoffs etc for the 5ive correct? How about the bottom into the arms? Thanks for the heads up!!I used 4 front shocks on my dbxl. Although idk if the mtxl shocks are longer so you may need rears off the 5ive. It took a bit of waiting to get all 4 off ebay but it was less then half the cost of new shocks.
My fault dude. I have read that thread actually. I figure there may be something new for the MTXL. Maybe something to finally set it apart from the dbxl....??? Repetition sucks man, but it's part of life.Been posting this up a lot here late. @WoodiE or @voo2doo make this a sticky please

This is what I did. Not my thread but invaluable for the swap.
Do you use a Dynamite killswitch? My friend is using one and asking me how to put it in lipo cutoff mode. I use Killer RC so I'm no help. Any clue on that? Its not in front of me to look atYeah I agree..... still beating to the same drum lol. It's a good read and well put together. And we the dbxl /mtxl guys seem to have a lot of the same issues.
