On the other hand, you should be appreciated that I was actually trying to help you, if the WIFE was reading that. Imagine if she did, then she probably won't let you buy the truck. You guys are crazy!!! I've found myself closing Troys page www.largescalerc.com when my wife is around to keep her ignorant:eek:, leaving Troys page open is like leaving a porn sight open; bad things can happen!:nono: :no: :2guns: :white-flag:

I think you guys should tell your wifes the truth, but take a zero off the end of what ever you buy... :D My wife thinks I'm crazy for spending the $220 I paid for a earth ripping 4wd MCD, or the $100 for my high flying Baja, and she even gave me $200 for my FG Leo. Oh and the 50 dollar race ported and reeded motors I put on my cars were laying around the house from my nitro days.

lol, nice. My wife doesn't really care, as long as the bills are paid first, guess that is y i have 6 largescales.
 
I'm convincing mine to take my FG MT so I can get the new MCD Baja 1000. I know she won't be driving much, so it will still be MINE...:clown:
I'm still rolling up my coins and saving the bucks I got for my parts toward the MCD Baja 1000... It's getting there... :D
 
I agree with Swatlien, just drop a zero from the price and every is buttah.
Plus, I just lock the door to the garage so the misses cant get in. Out of site out of mind :). If by chance she does sneek in, she doesn't know what I had in the first place, lol.

I should have the Baja 1000 parked in my garage by the end of next month.

Where are all the videos of the Baja 1000. I have been looking everywhere and they are not working for me.

nope, i might sell it. I'm on the fence right now. Also trying to get a CF RR body made for the underbelly.
 
Got a real car i need a tranny for, and if i just wait and save, i won't have a car for a long time. So i'm not sure what i'm going to do. I talked to Troy this morning, his BAJA 1000 looks awesome. I might have to just run the damn thing!!!

THIS QUESTION IS NOT tO START A BRAND WAR.
Just wondering which of the three cars you own handles better. I have a baja and have owned an FG monster beetle. I'm just considering getting the leopard race or the MCD. I also looked at the HARM BX-2 but parts are hard to get in the states and its a bunch of cash up front. I'm leaning toward the Leo for my race track for its entry price and I can upgrade as needed. I don't think my baja is suited to track running. It jumps funny and I think it could turn better.

Whats up Jeep!

I can care less about starting brand wars because I'm giving truthful opinions about my experiences. My MCD is the best handling car I own hands down... And this might shock you but my Baja 5B is next. I can run both of them in any track condition and give the guys with the muggys and truggys hell. My Leo is bad a$$ and well equiped but if the track is not perfect I can leave it at home. I live in GA were the red clay gets packed tight and traction is horrible. If it rains the night before i can give them hell with the Leo... but if the track is dry I can't get the back tires to grab at all. I spin out in curves and spin the tires down the straights. My next purchase will be 4wd, hopefull the new FG baja 4wd version when ever it comes out.

don't get me wrong, I'll put that leo up against anything in a open field or just clowning around at a park, but it has not been good to me on the track.

If you are interested in a leo I can give you an awesome deal.

It's got cable brakes and a custom made jetpro that is nicely tucked under the body.
 
I would be running on my track so it sounds like I should either get the MCD or get better with the Baja. We all no how durable the Baja is except the shock shafts, can I expect the same from the MCD as far as durability goes. How hard is it to get parts from Largescalerc.com?
