Can't afford that sucker! Do you think I will be alright cutting the pipe and using a coupler? I heard someone mention that it pops the coupler off. I guess the cut ends need to be flanged a bit.

Actually I think it can be pretty easily done if you use the original as the header and some heater hose for a coupler but I think that the bracket is too weak to handle any rough treatment that is why I sprung for the pipe.

Got the cage installed today and clearanced it for the pipe, I already knew that I was going to have to do this and I have an idea for a brace to take the place of the material that I removed.

This thing is ridiculous:)

I finally got to hear the pipe at full song in second gear yesterday and all I can say is it was amazing and scary to realize my brakes weren't adjusted tight enough:) all fixed but compared to the stock 30.5 cc and rear dom clone pipe it feels like it pulls the HP all the way through the RPM's. I can't imagine what it will be like when it comes time for it to be a OBR Prostock.

A little update, after bashing it for a few tanks I took it over the MX jumps and after some "Dukes of Hazzard" style driving I was able to able to find some weak points and fix them approprietly.

Broke KM shock cap from a crash

I decided that the shock cap wasn't the problem it was the suspension over extending and pulling it out of the brace so I got new HPI shock caps and some Killer RC limiting cables.

34843"]IMG_0615.webp

I also broke one of the front KM plastic hubs

34845"]IMG_0613.webp

Going to replace both front hubs with HPI parts and also rebuild the rear shocks as they aren't as smooth as I would like.

Got the Racers edge SS screw kit aswell

And did the laundry:)

Will post pics when I get them installed.
