After having Flosi my DBXL for a while, she needed a friend.
Unfortunately 5luT came like an exploded parts diagram in a box

Nice rig, I'm looking at getting the 30 Degrees truck next, 5T clone.
Noticed your in Gateshead, I'm in Blaydon, do you bash with any local groups? NERC, WBAT?
 
All done bar a killswitch.
Mate has bought a new engine so snagged a long block G320 with OBR full mod top end kit fitted.
New ring and heavy duty gasket set,998 carb and an 8k clutch spring

Engine in with 19 tooth pinion, exhaust on, linkages sorted, killswitch didn't want to play, engine ticked over for 10 mins.

Nothing much happening with either Flosi or the 5luT over the winter.
Both haven't had much use this year due to the covid bollox going on.

The centre diff in the 5luT had a bit too much play for my liking.
New brgs and 0.3 mm shims fitted behind them, all re assembled with bearing fit.
Needs to go back in when its a bit warmer.

You get your blown tyre replaced? If memory serves me right you blew it out at the last bash I was at at Ryhope. Hopefully we'll all be out again soon.
