So, what I've learned was they are not really worth saving money. So like with my integy transmission case, the aluminum quality is ok but the fitment Issues are the real problem. The bearing holder than holds the bearing in one of the gears (I think it's the idler gear), they didn't think about to make the tower thing alittle smaller so when they anodize it's still possible to get the bearing on there, so when I was trying to get the bearing on there, it was going on straight but I had to use the vice and ultimately bent the poop out of that tower, so I had to bend it back (works fine now but that's honestly annecptable, and WILL be switching to the turtle racing transmission case). Then I tried to install it into the truck, that was an indever. So The bottom 4 holes lined up ok, but the top was a PITA, the top plate didn't line up, the brake disks rubbed on the top plate, the center screw hole on top of the tranny case didn't line up with the top place (so I had to cut that part out of my top plate and remake a brace). So next part, my madmax diff case. man that was POS to be honest, nothing really wanted to go together, it didn't really fit in the tranny case without splitting both case and reassembling that way (defeating the point of a quick diff), the viscous washers needed to be sanded for Everything to go smoothly, the aluminum quality, was what you'd expect for $25, aka not very good. Will be switching to IRC or tr when I go for the TR tranny case. Rovan/km tires, do I really need to explain?? Way to thin, don't give good traction, lasted 2 runs before they tore, so those were trash. That's really about all the clone parts I bought, I hope they are the last of em. Now I'm not saying all clone parts are poop, I'm sure there's a couple of em that are good. Like that cooling clutch plate (clone of the rb innovations cooling clutch plate), that's hard to screw up. But all in all, my opinion is the same. Buy original, you won't have ( most likely, it depends on your setup, you can't expect everything to drop together if your using all type of brands mixing and matching) fitment issues, quality is better, and your supporting the real creator who designed that product and not someone is china just ripping off designs and making money off it. And if your trying to have a discussion about this (let's not start a war even tho I know I'm opening up a can of worms) keep it civil and humane please.

IRC diff cup kits ALL THE WAY!!! . Make sure you use brand new HPI only gear sets. Take your time with its super thin case half o-ring and do not try to force it into its machine groove. Hold it in with thick divers grease while putting halves together. I have put big HP through those kits and no problems at all.
I'm I not wrong in saying that all true HPI parts are made in china ?

I had a total nightmare with clone cnc aluminum rear bulkhead sets! . It took me over a month to find the one's HPI made way back and then I had to strip the purple off of them. I found two sets in a off the grid r/c shop in Utah . Made everything fit perfect .
I was able to piece together 5 complete HPI slipper clutch kits by ordering the parts one piece at a time from all over the world. The parts are out there but you got to dig big time to find them.

LOL....that is what people back in the day use to call Integy stuff ,it use to bend an melt down like butter ,
they hated that brand ,especially those cheap piggy back shocks!.....
Ah yes, the good ol buttery aluminum. I only bought the integy tranny case becuase there's nothing that's gunna hit it to bend it, if it was a suspension part or anything else I would run the other way from integy with my tail between my legs lol.

Is it really that bad ,or does it need a little trimming an material shaved off ,I know back in the day on the smaller
scale racing kits ,they use to clean out any access material out of the diffs ,an shim them!

There's nothing that I can shave/mod on the actual case, it's just made wrong and doesn't fit well at all.

Ah yes the piggybacks! The 8 shock kit for the savage ......Not one of the 8 shocks worked ......JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahh ,well now what ,you going with something else?
Its in the truck and it fits now that I've modded other stuff to make it fit but whenever the rebuild for the truck rolls around and I go built transmission, it's Gunna be TR transmission case, the diff saver, black bone gears, all new seals, fast Eddy bearings, kraken or rcmax clipless layshaft, rcr breaks, new OEM hpi diff gears, and bonehead RC carbon fiber gear plate, all the good stuff and should be bulletproof
