this is my first petrol rc which a friend of mine had bought to fix and sell on, so i bought it off him as i enjoyed playing about with his more than my 1/10th nitro!
get a brew going this could take a while!
this was the first time i had seen it before i bought it

few things needed replacing but we tested the engine while out having a bash in the woods with my friends marder

this weekend just gone a new/good second hand chassis arrived for my marder so my friend set about swapping the bits over

when the marder was fully stripped a few more broken bits were found and replaced from the box of spares my friend had which inc some of his alloy bits :w00t:
this was his front room on the day mine was being rebuilt

we finally managed to get both our marders out for a little bash/play about and set up on sunday afternoon!

after seeing the amount of grass that attached itself to my marder i decided to strip it down and clean it, good job really as the grass was everywhere!!

while i was at it i had been online buying bits and bobs to help protect the engine a bit more! first up my shock socks had arrived so i fitted those!

the following day my bits from free prawn racing and my new fly sky handset had arrived!

and my switchblade kill switch!

first port of call was to remove the engine and clean the rest of the grass out that i couldnt reach the night before!

i wish removing the engine from my real car was as easy as this :lol:

after the engine was cleaned i started fitting my new 2.4 receiver and kill switch

decided to strip my pull start as well and clean that :lol:, but ive got a new one on the way so this will be a spare! once the new pull start arrives i can fit the pull start outer wear!
