well guys I got my rear dom so I'm good on low end now how can I get more top speed I allready flipped my gears around were could I get taller gears to fit the xsc

the two gears thears a thread on it some were I think it was 29/31 now its 31/29 but I want to know what other gears can I run anyone know

The XT uses 25-35. You could try 35-25. The taller the ratio the more sluggish the low end will be.

What wheel/tire combo are are you running? A larger diameter combo will also increase your top speed.

ya I know I have the stockers on her for now just replaced the two servos so tires will have to wait but I will rry the 35/25 I have the rear dom it takes off like badout of hell you think it will be too sluggish with that geering

Yes 35-25 is too tall for the stock motor. It would have a much higher top speed, but would take some time to reach it.

It depends what gears your swapping. For the 29-31. It helps the top speed some. If you have an 8k clutch spring you don't loose much on the bottom end. Give it a try it might be what your looking for.

I ment 33/27
They'd have to be MCD gears. They have plastic and steel gears. I still run the plastic gears because I have a box full of them and I want to burn through them before I upgrade. Wouldn't recommend the plastics, though. Their steel gears are good, but they're super expensive.

Can someone post a link to those gears in 33/27. I want to make sure I get the right ones because I'd like to do the same thing. I went to there site but I'm not finding them in that combo. Maybe they don't come that way?
