Don't want to run plastic, though. They're great, and I run them, but it doesn't make sense to go from metal gears to plastic. I'm upgrading to metal gears when I burn up all my plastics.

Do you run all plastic? I've read the plastics do better when you run a metal and plastic together. They should be much quieter also.

My A/B gears are plastic. C/D are metal. I've ran a plastic C and a metal D. Not really that much quieter. They still chatter like hell.

RCDAD when we spoke yesterday you said Redcat doesn't make any other gears other than a 35 for the Dunerunner unless I changed out to the MCD setup and I shouldn't but I ran across these.

Those are for the square drive I was talking about. There are a few more option for the square drive system.

FYI that is the exact ratio that comes on the Dune Runner.

if you have a pipe or have it straight off the header that gives an ass load of low end, cant you just use gearing for top end? because if im correct if you have an engine that makes a ton of torque all you need is gearing...right?

Yep, if you have enough torque you can pull taller gears.
