Need upgrade suggestions for traxxas x max

Just got a brand new traxxas x max and need suggestions for the best upgrades. I have no budget so i want the best of the best. I want my x max to turn out really fast like 50-60 mphs but still having an amazing amount of torque and am planning to taking it on bumpy hill dry rocky land and somewhat on road. Please if you have ANY ideas please let me know.
 
Upgrading the ESC to a Max6 really wakes it up. I’d also get the GPM spur shaft. But other upgrades really aren’t needed.

Yes exactly. The big Traxxas trucks are good because they’re lightweight. You don’t want to ruin that.
 
Pull your pinion and run set screw thru ,remove, locktite and reinstall. Traxxas does not get them tight. Pull PINS from motor and set mesh by ear ,light tick. Will save your gears.Other than that, leave it alone.One last thing ,turn traction control off so you don't burn up steering servo. Pro line badlands best tires because you will blow Traxxas ones apart.
 
I used forged tekno pinions and hot racing forged spurs as the traxxas stuff is pressed powder steel and they don't last. Also I drilled a dimple into the motor shaft so the set screw has a better bite on the shaft, otherwise you run the possibility of the pinion just spinning on the motor shaft.
