I bought this LOSI SBR 2.0 used. I have gone through each diff and shimmed the front but still have clicking. I pulled the rear driveshaft and the clicking was significantly worse. I’m thinking front ring and pinion gear are toast? Here is a video for reference. I have ordered a new ring and pinion as well as front gearbox. Hoping that resolves it… any other thoughts though? Could it be transmission/center diff?

It wouldn't surprise me that your center diff is lacking diff oil. I've seen a few out of the box dbxl 2.0's doing the same thing because the fluid leaked out of the center diff. Don't keep running it otherwise you'll be rebuilding the entire diff as it lacks the lubrication of the silicone oil.

Sounds more like the slipper clutch since it is getting no real power.
No slipper clutch. Has 3 diffs. All have been serviced, 1mill front 20mill center and 500K rear

All diffs have been gone through. 1mill front, 20mill center and 500k rear so I know that’s all good. Leads me to believe it’s the front ring and pinion as in the video I that’s with the rear driveshaft removed
Yes i
The super Baja rey has a center diff. Have you taken that apart to the the internals? Also, have you checked the spur and pinion gears for alignment/missing teeth?
I have checked all fluids and replaced/cleaned all internals. I haven’t really inspected the ring and pinion but pretty confident that’s what it is as in the video the rear driveshafts was pulled and that was the result, still clicking even worse actually than it was with the drivehsaft installed

I agree with @Rep732 If you keep running it you might end up having to replace the entire diff internals. I would try holding and spinning the wheels by hand or if possible removing the driveshafts and spinning the diff output cups by hand and see if you can feel which diff is rough / clicking. Also check to see if you can see signs of a past diff leak by looking for excessive dust or dirt sticking and buildup around them. Once you can isolate where it’s coming from I would just take the diff apart and inspect the gears and refill it with fluid then check again.

My SBR had a similar issue and it turned out half of one of the rear driveshaft pins had broken. I would inspect all the driveshafts closely.

Good luck.
